Wellbutrin is one of the best antidepressants which are very effective in curing depressions. There are some things which it’s better to know, before you start Wellbutrin treatment. If you are allergic to such components like Bupropion and Zyban, Wellbutrin XL or Wellbutrin SR, Wellbutrin shouldn’t be taken by you. If you are taking one of the listed below MAOI, or monoamine oxidase inhibitors, you shouldn’t take Wellbutrin:
- furazolidone (Furoxone), tranylcypromine (Parnate);

- dryness of mouth;
But these side effects are rather common and they usually don’t last long and don’t disturb patients a lot. More serious are some severe side effects, which may occur:
- swollen arms and legs;
- feeling paranoid;
- increase in blood pressure;
- visual Perceptions;
- choking of throat;
- pain in the chest and fits;
- high fever.
It’s strongly recommended to inform your doctor immediately if you notice some of these symptoms or if they become more severe.
The storage of Wellbutrin medication is very simple, the same as for most other medicines. Keep it in a dark, dry place preventing from moisture and heat at normal (room) temperature (from15 to 30 degrees). Keep Wellbutrin away from pets and kids and utilize it if not using.
